Understand every virtual result
A winning return includes your stake. Net profit is different. Try both outcomes and see the arithmetic before using the terminal.
Try the numbers
Start from a hypothetical $10,000 virtual balance. Change one value and compare a win with a loss.
Illustration only. No orders are placed. Check the terminal’s quoted payout and contract terms for an actual demo trade.
Net result in virtual funds
+$85.00
- Total returned, including stake
- $185.00
- Virtual balance after settlement
- $10,085.00
- Theoretical break-even win rate
- 54.05%
Break-even assumes the same stake and payout, full wins or losses, and no costs or rounding. It does not predict your results.
Keep it clear
Six terms you will use
- Demo funds
- Virtual money used for practice. Demo balances and results cannot be withdrawn.
- Stake
- The amount committed to an order and exposed to its outcome.
- Expiry
- The time at which a trade is settled. It is separate from the chart timeframe.
- Payout
- The quoted profit percentage for a standard winning trade; it is not a win probability.
- Candle
- A chart interval summarised by its opening, highest, lowest and closing prices.
- Pending order
- An order waiting for a selected activation condition, with its stake reserved.
