1. Summary
Short-expiry trading is high risk. You can lose the full stake of every trade, and a series of trades can lose your entire live balance in a short time. Only trade with money you can afford to lose.
2. How trades settle
A trade is a fixed-stake contract on whether the price will be above or below the entry price at expiry. If you are right you receive the stated payout; if you are wrong you lose the stake. If the closing price equals the entry price, the trade is lost. There is no partial result and you cannot close a trade early.
3. Market risk
Prices can move sharply in seconds, especially around news, market opens and closes, and in thin markets. Short expiries leave little time for a position to recover.
4. OTC instruments
OTC instruments use prices generated by the platform. They are not linked to an exchange, can behave differently from the related real market and are available at times when real markets are closed.
5. Demo results
Results on the demo account do not include the pressure of real money and are not a reliable guide to live results.
6. Technical risk
Internet outages, device problems or delays in the price feed can affect when a trade is placed or how quickly you see results. A trade that has been accepted settles at expiry even if you lose connection.
7. Currency display
Balances are held in US dollars. If you choose PKR as your display currency, amounts are converted at a reference rate for display only, and the value in PKR changes with the exchange rate.
8. Responsible trading
Set a daily trading limit in your account, take breaks and stop if trading is causing you financial or personal difficulty. Trading is not a way to recover losses or earn a guaranteed income.
